File a Complaint

Through this page you can file a complaint about a company or individual that relates to one of the various areas administered and regulated by the Department of Finance. We welcome hearing from you because your information may alert us to a bad firm, an unfair practice in the securities industry that needs to be changed, or the latest fraud.

Idaho Public Records Law

Your complaint will become part of our permanent file concerning the business or person identified, and will assist us in determining the need for further action by this office.

In addition, your complaint may be a public document and if so, may be inspected by members of the public and media if a request is made under Idaho's Public Records Law. Your time in submitting this information is appreciated.

How to File a Complaint?

If you have supporting documentation to substantiate your complaint, please download and print the complaint form, fill it out completely, and then send it to the Department of Finance with the supporting documentation attached.
