Protecting Idaho Small Businesses from Business Email Compromise
WaFd Bank in partnership with the Idaho Department of Finance (IDOF) Financial Innovation Lab will assemble a group of experts to discuss the threat Business Email Compromise (BEC) poses to Idaho’s small business community and the public. BEC remains the number one threat to U.S. small businesses causing over $2.9 billion in losses this past year. This event will focus on BEC prevention strategies, incident response, and potential policy solutions and include participants from WaFd Bank, IDOF, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, Boise Police Department, and Justin Feffer and Associates.
