The Financial Institutions Bureau’s Bank Section is charged with the supervision of Idaho’s state-chartered commercial banks, savings banks, and bank holding companies to ensure safe and prudent banking practices for the benefit of depositors and shareholders.
Additionally, the Bank Section is tasked with promoting public confidence by ensuring state-chartered institutions are in compliance with various sections of Idaho Code, including the Idaho Bank Act, and applicable federal regulations.
